Interoperative CT Scanner + Operating Arm | iMRIS | Kangaroo

Designing for IMRIS required integrating heavy industrial movement with microscopic surgical precision. The VISIUS iCT is a ceiling-mounted intraoperative CT that travels between operating rooms, providing high-resolution imaging without moving the patient. Complementing this, the SYMBIS surgical robot allows for MR-compatible microsurgery.

The exterior utilizes twin-sheet thermoforming and RIM to create lightweight, hygienic, and non-magnetic enclosures.
